James began his career in New York as a clown for children’s parties. During his first few years performing at events he noticed that the very young children were sometimes scared of the make-up and older kids thought a clown was “uncool”. James realized that he could make a more personal connection by not wearing the make-up but instead maximize the humor and animated movement. Suddenly he became be a fun friend and magical hero to kids of all ages. As a result James has been the Emcee and Ringmaster for both “Cabaret Circus” in Las Vegas and Circus Express” in Asia and has headlined his own comedy and magic spectaculars for Six Flags, State Fairs, World Expos and theme parks all over the world.
